Ok, things are looking up for my trip December 30-January 2. We'll be driving instead of flying because that is just too much money for plane tickets, it was like $480 each!!! :eek: It will be like 8 hours so I will have the evening of the 30th, all day the 31st and all day the 1st. Will places be open to shop like in Destin on New Years Eve and New Years Day? :idontno:

And no, Kimmifunn, don't even start. :nono1: :lolabove:

I'm just about to the screaming point. My husband doesn't want to drive that far just for the weekend. It would be 8 hours to SoWal. :bang:

What can you tell me about Dallas Miss Kitty? That's closer but still somewhere we never go. I'm checking on a Wyndham near the Galleria mall. Is that a good part of town? If ya'll are tired of hearing about my almost trips just say the word and I'll stew by myself. :roll:
 
Did you price flights going into Pensacola? I saved over $200 per ticket by flying into there instead of Fort Walton Beach this fall.

Man BC, this is a tough one! The Wyndham is attached to the Galleria and the mall is nice. What are you looking to do?

I hope you look into cheaper (?) airfares to Pensacola...I would much rather you be in SoWal than Big D...but I am very biased!!!

Gee...thanks! It's not often that Miss Kitty earns the title of "sweet"!!! I just SO want you to go to the BEACH...because you are CRAZY for it!!!

I know, me too! No go. $431 and that's a 2 hour drive to the scare port!
