So you think the employment situation is good? That it cannot be improved?
"Accelerate training to help workers transition to good-paying jobs in high-demand and emerging fields..." is not a good idea? What about health and sciences? Engineering? What are we training our youth to do? Where will they go to school to become their dream? Where will they get a job to fulfill it? Here? What happens to workers when they are too old or have a disability that prevents them from doing many of the jobs available? What if they don't have a constuction talent?

Well, I have a stake in this. I do need some underpaid zombie to pour my scotch for me. I can't allow 'them' to escape and all become NASA scientists...do you know what that will do to the price of scotch?!

I think she was trying to say we need more jobs that require more skill and working knowledge which requires more training,but also usually translates into more income so a family can survive on it and still have a house and car and health insurance ect,ect. maybe a poor choice of words by her but do you always want to be a busboy,dishwasher,or other low paying non challenging job or say would you rather be a chef,manager or business owner which all require more knowledge and training. Dont get me wrong i have worked 2 and 3 low paying jobs at a time and i busted my butt just to make ends meet. most blue collar workers work as hard or harder than the big boy's. but dont get near as much pay
