New Alabama Law Extends Summer

This seems like it is big news for SoWal and other tourist destinations. Even one extra week of vacation time will mean millions more in revenue. I'm curious if local businesses and rental owners think this will make a difference to their bottom line.

The Alabama Legislature has passed a bill designed to boost tourism spending by prohibiting schools from starting more than two weeks before Labor Day and requiring them to end before Memorial Day.
