Our mom jobs cover most of the requirements except salary.

I think if we knew of that job, we would all have it. :D

All that flexibility and fun time rarely combines with great benefits and salary.

A friend of mine is hiring for beach chair attendants in PCB, not too flexible on time, but the pay is good and you're outdoors all day long!

Blogging about life in the Florida Panhandle? If you can get enough regular readers, you can get some income from GoogleAds and the like.

Our daughter gets $250 per post on a wedding blog. She's pretty well-known in the wedding industry (expertise gained from planning her own wedding which was last June). No health-care benefits though.

She also writes for wedding magazines (good skillz -- her SAT IIs in English were so good that she exempted English at MIT).

She also does wedding websites. She took my Java I and II classes when she was in high school, but she taught herself XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and all of the photo-editing software that she uses.

What is the most profitable for her is wedding photography. Big bucks on the weekends. In April she is the lead photographer for a wedding in Ohio with a 500-person processional with elephants! She is so pumped about that.

So if you like to write, start posting on a website in which you have some expertise. It could parley into an offer. Get your name out there, and you could be contacted to be a writer for your areas of interest.

No 9-5 job, but more than 40 hours per week unless you manage your gigs properly. Our daughter is overloaded now, raised her prices, and is getting even more gig requests.

BTW the best thing is that she loves what she does. So glad she decided not to go to med school. Too stressful.
