Now all I need is for someone to build a bridge across the branch and lay about a mile of asphalt under CHELCO's powerline, and I can be in PW in five minutes instead of 10 - don't want much, do I?

I love the new entrance; now, all I need is fall weather to enjoy the park. It is beautiful.

My grandchildren love it here and we always do our Christmas shopping in the Gift Shop.

Is anyone familiar with the little video of the history of Eden State Park/Wesley Mansion that plays on Beach TV (Mediacom 12) and know any way to get a copy of it? It's really a cute little film.

Volunteers DO make a difference

The improvements to Eden Gardens State Park began in the early 90's with the formation of "The Friends of Eden" (Jonathan Quinn, Polly Capps, Virgie Thompson, Wayne Carlisle . . .the list is very long).

Through the years, this volunteer group has continued to work tirelessly with the state park system to improve and maintain the park: the Rose Garden and additions to the camellia plantings, a new mansion roof and numerous interior projects, the amphitheater, the pavillion, and now this safe, beautiful and nature-friendly entrance--just to name a few improvements.
