Rubio Pulls Even With Crist In Senate Race - cbs4.com

Marco Rubio has caught up to Governor Crist in a recent Rasmussen poll. Just a few months ago, me and my political science friends didn't even think Rubio had a chance.

Now the question is, does he have staying power?

Yes, or maybe you don't find Crist so bad so you vote for him. Then maybe you vote for the Dem in the general. A hedge, I admit, but is Rubio a sure loser in the general election? Can we risk it? What if he wins? I don't know enough about this. What's the deadline for me switching to Republican?

As a Democrat I don't want to vote for him, but as a gay man I do. Of course it's not like he'd be our first gay congressman.

Why is that? I don't know much about him, so any info would be nice. I'm not that happy with Crist now, so not sure I want him as Senator either.

His issues page is sparse, impossible to make a decision at this point. I would like to know how he feels about national security and preemption.

You'll have to register Republican. It's no big deal. You'll get phone calls from the RNC which will give you an opportunity for expression.
