I have gotten the phone numbers, and am calling today, several of the Republican Congressman who are bringing this dumb issue to the floor. I will call them to let them know that I would rather have them spending their time stonewalling and blocking Heathcare Reform, than wasting their time on proving that Obama wasn't born in the U.S.

If Obama had been born in the Panama Canal Zone , like John McCain, I am sure the outcry would be even greater.....very sad.

Aside from distraction, what do the they hope to accomplish? Legally, what would happen if Obama was really born in a manger on Pluto? Joe Biden would become President? Is there anything in the Constitution that says the Republicans would take over? Not. This is so silly and I can't believe that it is still an issue. I saw this on CNBC last night... that was after listening an hour to Palin's long winded, nasty bashing of the media and then some how tie that into the 2nd amendment.
