I wonder how long it would take to train the dog to participate with a gadget being tucked under his poo area....I personally would find it hard to control it, aim it (would need my cheaters for the close up approach),collect it, and still hold onto the leash with the other hand. Personally here in Grayton, I rarely see any of our folks carrying a pick up bag when they walk their dogs : > ( ...the only bag my yard sees after visiting pooches is in my hands...

Hey, i've got a rottweiler so i'm always trying to think of alternatives. The weird thing is just this morning, i was wishing for some bucket like container i could strap to his ass, and after he finished he could just walk over to some 'depths of hell' hole (which only opens for him) where he could make a deposit and no one would be the wiser.

If you invent that, let me know. My soon-to-be-gone carpet thanks you in advance.

Well, is know they make an attachment for horses that allows them to poop on demand, the only drawback is having to clean the bag. Blech!!!

I was listening to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on NPR and the actor who plays Monk was on there (Tony Shalhoub). The guy who invented this thing is his brother. He was talking about the other names they came up with before settling on Shapoopie. It was pretty funny. One of them was "The Long Arm of the Log. It was hysterical.

I watched the same thing.

I've noticed that the horses miss frequently. Sweet Pea prefers her privacy, anyway..... and she dances around a bit, too.
