LuLu--It's still coming down. :shock:
I'll be going dark for a while--no power at home. I'm leaving work now. What does that say? I'd rather be home and cold than working and warm.

:shock:....yikes, NO POWER? And here I was bemoaning the fact that my DishTV is out! This is quite the snowstorm. Mr. K is stuck in NYC. They first told him it would be SUNDAY before he could get out. Luckily the firm's travel person got him on a plane to Houston tomorrow.

DD...I can't see the scroll!!!! Call me and tell me everything that has closed.

Hell, I'm still here at work...trying to leave. Those people are gone, thank God.
Mr. DD's driving from San Antonio--says it's terrible driving. Worse than any experience anyone else in the world is having.
Hope Mr. Kitty makes it home S&S.
It IS quite the storm--they say 6-8" before it's all over. Holy Crap--I think this is more snow than I've ever seen HERE.
I'll check the closings and get back to ya.

I live in NYC but I've been working in New Orleans all week, so now I'm stuck.

It's raining and chilly but sooooo much fun here.

Y'all are getting 6-8"! We might get a dustin'! But, right now announcements are for school closings tomorrow! I love the South, don't you?

I like snow with power~~~~~~I hope all are safe, warm, cozy and have sufficient libation to get through this!!

DD, you are snowed in! Just heard Dallas is getting 9" and it's record snow since 19 hundred and 32~~~~dangitall, who knew? I have a feeling Buckhead will be a dry little bucket! I am ticked! Stupid weather gods!

I'm afraid DD is w/o power!!!!! I spent an hour outside with various hoses and sprayers trying to rig it up to blow the snow off my dish. No luck and no TV. Bummer.

Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Fire, DD and Miss Kitty. Ya'll had some snow today in the Big D . Looks like it is still coming down. Were you without power for long? Thinking of you guys. (I learned to say "you guys" while living up north for awhile. Growing up here in SoWal and Houston, I used to think anyone that lived north of I-10 was a Yankee.)
