The next BCC meeting will be this Tuesday (Aug. 11) at the Courthouse annex on 331. Starts a t 4 pm. I have given up on getting the commision to change what the ordinance says so I will be there to simply say "vote NO". Please join me. Turnout at the last meeting was very slim and I fully expect a vote this time one way or another. If you care about your right to play music, be there and be heard.

Based on the things I read in the height limitation ordinance, that are against current Florida Statute, I am starting to suspect that ordinances are written however they want, then we get the same people who wrote the ordinance to defend it, and then pay them to change it when the court says it is wrong. I doubt you get a No vote, just start raising money to take it to court and get it changed.

Maybe so, but one thing I know for sure is that if no one shows up because they think its hopeless then we will be defeated and it will be a self fulfilling prophecy. Government is the way it is because the people allow it to be. I trully hope to see everyone there!
