Well, Mr. Pod works with his best friend (since kindergarten...!), and his friend had to go on this trip, too. So, as far as I'm concerned, it's a vacation.

i really hate to admit this, but mr grumpy is working 12 hours today and tomorrow, and i am already lonesome. we don't talk much, but i like just knowing he's here. i am way pathetic - my mom taught me different than that. in her words "never rely on a man to take care of you - make sure you can take care of yourself without one". wise advice from a woman with a drunken, child beating father whose mom wouldn't leave him, don't ya think?

I come home to an empty house and go to bed alone every night. Very peaceful!

i think perhaps what i miss most is having someone to aggravate while he's at work. the dog just gets up and goes to her crate when i try to aggravate her. or she bites me. she tried to get in the ups guys truck with him last night. what a goofy dog i have.
