No matter how you want to spin his grades prior to Harvard and Columbia, he excelled at those schools and then went on to be very successful in life by ANY standards.

All I know is a couple of months later word got around that he was cheating on his wife and he ended up divorcing because of that. I've always wondered if this interview didn't help to tip people off. I always thought he should have lied and said "yes, it's monogamous"
