I have enjoyed watching Obama grow into the job. I feel sorry for him. Not able to get much done with congress and attacked on every front. I think in his mind job number one was maintaining a legacy which will always begin with "As America's first President of African heritage...".
I believe HR Clinton will make a very capable, experienced, intelligent, and distinguished leader. I hope that she doesn't read to lightly as President.

It's ironic that we just celebrated independence day; a celebration of our independence from a tyrannical and overbearing government (Great Britain). Now under Obama we grow ever more dependent on a federal government; usurping the responsibilities of family, community, local government and state government. People do not even realize what is happening to them...

Yes, my portfolio is doing fine as well. The fed holds interest rates at near 0%. Where else is anyone with any money going to invest. People with money are making money.
The problem is that the fed is beginning to slow bond buying and artificially low interest rates will begin to rise.
Furthermore this economy is being hollowed out by over regulation and high taxes. Anti business attitudes and policies continue to drive companies as well as jobs overseas. Witness the departure of Medtronic, Pfizer and other large companies.
