OMG! I really earn more than $250K?.....

I can't speak for everyone, but I consider an abortion to be a medical procedure - and thus something to be deemed necessary by a doctor and their patient, not "the taxpayers" and covered by insurance.

Also don't have a problem with providing emergency care to anyone who needs it - seeing as how that already happens and I am already subsidizing it, I don't find it to be a major source of hysteria.

And You belief this to be true...No one other than old Harry knows what is in that Bill that Dems voted for without reading...I think that all of you OBAMA supporters are eventually going to wake up and figure out you guys have been duped!!!!!!!

Yep, Harry has been hiding that bill from you and everyone else. Luckily I know the secret combination to the Liberal Law Vault.

/sarcasm off/

....well, I guess that I MUST, since $9.30 more of my USAF retirement check was deducted. My pay stub details "due to recent legislation your federal withholding tax was increased". As I recall, my president told me that only those earning $250K or more per year would see tax increases......I wonder what happened?. I know this: if I was making $250K a year, then I'd be having a LOT more fun!......

Federal tax rates have actually NOT increased for anyone (yet). So is this a case of no COLA increase this year plus increased cost of health care benefits=smaller check? This has happened to many Social Security recipients as well. If you look at it piece by piece, you can see how it happened, and that it's not actually a tax increase.

Perhaps you might have that secret combination but I don't think so and if you would admit your true deep down feelings those things that you know to be true...I know you and others who voted for that Change, that Hope, that transparency, that Cspan coverage, those line by line bill changes, the no more special interest fundings are really disappointed in your man Obama. He didn't tell the truth, he said what he thought he needed to say to get elected. He never did intend to be that man he "played" in the election.

From what I understand, Congress has let 50 tax breaks expire. Most will likely be reinstated, but based on your withholding, since the legislation expired for the year, the USAF may be basing withholding on current expired legislation. You'll probably get it back eventually when you file your return in April.

Not necessarily. Hypothetically speaking, maybe some Obama supporters are in favor of taxpayer funded abortions and health care for illegals. No duping in that case. Just saying.

Hypothetically speaking, if both issues are included in the final signed bill, will Joe Wilson still be a racist?

Nope...it was a change to my income tax withholding only.....no add or decrease to COLA or allotments. And the reason quoted that I included is verbatim from my Leave and Earnings Statement....hence, the quotation marks.

Naw, its just a decrease in income.

I just checked my RAS and found you are absolutely right. My FITW increased $16.50 so I have a net decrease in income of $l88.00 a year.
In my case, its not the money, it is definitely the principle of the thing. So much for no tax increase for those making less than 250K. And my military retired pay is the first thing hit? "You Lie" is quite appropriate.
