On a lighter note.....It's Riverbend Week in Nooga

[GraytonBound]

So, my last post was too serious, so thought I would lighten it up & brag a little that it's Riverbend Festival week in Chattanooga.:clap_1:

Otter & I are going to see Cowboy Mouth, Cheap Trick, Pat Benatar, among others. Anybody want to go?

Hey, awesome! My band Deep Blue Sun is headlining the Budweiser Rock Stage tomorrow night (Thursday june 16). We go on at 9:30. We're mainly original rock in a classic 70s/boogie funk style, but we'll be doing a few fun covers you'll know too. I'm the girl with the guitar. Come say hi if you happen to be there.

We did not have plans to go Thursday because my son has a lacrosse game, but I will DEFINITLY make the effort now. I'd love to watch.

And Otter female musicians.

No Freakin Way! Too cool! I'm a drummer by trade. Hopefully I'll be back from KY by then (I better be) and will come see ya.

BTW: Talk 102.3 is the only station I listen too. Usually don't listen at 8 PM but I'll have it on tonight.

[GraytonBound]

Awesome! I listen to that station :clap_1:

I just checked out your website, looks like a fun evening with great music! I see you have played at the Variety Playhouse......we went there last year for the Gin Blossoms and loved the place.

My son's game is at 7:00 so we can probably make a 9:30 show, but will have the little otters with us. They're not fans of loud music yet, but my 9yo wants to grow up to be a hippie so I'll tell him to wear his tye-die shirt

Otter was a drummer, back in the day......

[GraytonBound]

OK, so Otter's online too

Is the radio show tonight or Thursday night?

Is the radio show tonight or Thursday night?

Tomorrow nite, around 8 (ish). Gosh, i hate radio interviews, i get so tongue tied. so don't expect much hilarity or insight, though we'll try. Our wise cracking bass player is almost certain to attempt to slip in the phrase "aliens are real" even if its not appropriate. Try as we might, we can't seem to stop him from doing that... sigh

[GraytonBound]

:laughing1 Sounds like you guys have a lot of fun!

Don't worry about the radio show, I'm a lousey public speaker myself. I want to hear you play! Hope to see ya' tomorrow.:clap_1:
