SJ, that is a stunning looking dog! Greyhounds are among my favorite dogs of all times. Such gentle dispositions and elegant faces! I like the way Missy has a bit of "heft" to her.
Her owners, who were not at the beach will be getting a surprise of some cool photos in their email. They did not have a clue as to how much funn Missy was having without them. Missy had a babysitter playing with her.

We have a Maggie as well who experienced loneliness when we left. She got to the point where she would chew her body because of her sadness. THe vet was the most convincing person on getting a second dog, so enlist his expertise. He can make a good argument substantiate your want of a second dog....more dogs, more love.

Good Idea! I will go and talk to the vet!
Thanks, iwiwt!

We have always had two dogs. They seem much happier. Ours always lay right next to each other when they sleep. We had Maddie (the Lab) for about 5 years before we got Lacey (the English Setter). We had another English Setter named Sophie before we got Lacey but she got out and didn't make it home. (Very sad) Maddie was lonely, always looking for Sophie so we brought Lacey home about 2 weeks after the accident. They have been buds ever since. They do compete for our attention some times though. We love em!

Those are such beautiful doggies!! And they look very sweet.

They are sooo sweet. The pic in the middle on the bottom is Maddie and our little Sophie (she was the sweetest little dog) She was on the small side as far as English Setters go. We miss her sweet little face.
