one of those days

Let me preface this by saying that I've worked for the same employer for just shy of 13 years and I know that in this economy that a job is a blessing. I need to complain to the universe a bit regardless of the afore mentioned!

I've been traveling for work 2 weeks/month since April and that won't end until Oct-I've not complained to the bosses, just my hubs and mom. I've been told it's because I'm a natural and I'm so good at it-in my opinion it's because I don't throw fits and I don't have kids so they don't feel so bad about yanking me out of my home and routine. Now I'm stuck doing another 2 week class-granted in my area-but that keeps me from attending the one conference that I was going to get to attend and NOT work for the year. It's a conference that I look forward to every year because it's my only one to not work!! The two week class isn't part of my job description and is the full time job of another guy who doesn't like to travel and whines about it extensively-hence his not coming to my area I'm sure. I just really think it sucks and would love to tell them to kiss off right now. After being a good little soldier for 6 months; I really don't appreciate this crap!

ok, now I'm going to go work out, come back and prep for another class that I train for the first time on Wednesday-hoping my crap mood will lift with the positive workout hormones.

DD, let's hit I35 South and do some butt kicking! The hour of zumba did help a bit but spilling my entire glass of tea on my mail and my garage door opener/alarm keyless entry did not help!!! I've had a bubble bath and am trying to make peace with the universe!

BTW, if you and your hubs are into this stuff, my hubs is planning to participate in Ft Worth Artsgoggle on Sat 10/8 to see his leather and pearl stuff, he's been on a total kick since my bday and has come out with some really cool bracelets and necklaces. If you've never been to Artgoggle, it's mostly on Magnolia with some on Main and Park Place and it's much fun-lots of people giving away beer and wine and walking around looking at all forms of art with live music scattered around. It's a New Southside endeavor-handy for dinner at Benitos or Yucatan as well!!

Well, that sounds pretty funn! I've got to work on that day, but not sure of the hours yet. Love the Magnolia area. I don't get down there much, since i'm mostly in NE Tarrant County now, but love it when I get to go down there by the hospitals and venture over to Magnolia.
