One time, at Band Camp...

I had a bunch of college friends who went to high school with the screenwriter. There are a ton of in-jokes in the film about East Grand Rapids High School (across town from where I went), the area around it, high school rivals, and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp that I can pick up on. There are also allegedly some characters loosely based on real people.

And save for making Lake Michigan look like a duck pond, the movie actually ends up looking something like the place it was based on, even though it was entirely filmed in California.

This chick has turned up every time I watch TV this week- first in Cinderella Story (Kate and I watched it about 3 times-she is a great mean step-mother) and now in American Pie.

How is American Pie 2? Anyone like it/seen it? Or should I be mortified that I am admitting that I have seen American Pie 1?!!!:shock:
