Wow........there still around? My hair is straight as a board right now, I want to get a body wave , but trying to wait until just about 6 weeks before wedding........and my straight hair is driving me NUTS! Maybe I'll go buy some pink sponge rollers :rofl:

Do you have a Sally's around there? They have them. I think I saw them in Walgreens too.

My daughter used those pink sponges rollers in a ponytail the night before they would have a danceteam/cheerleading competition in high school. Those things are still popular.

My daughter uses those too, the work pretty good!!!

I don't know either. Some mornings when I get up my hair looks like I have been sleeping "standing on my head."

oh my god you guys - i thought i was the only child around forced to be dippity do'd , pink sponge rollered, then in the morning when mom took them out i looked like something the dog hocked up ! and don't get me started on toni home perms. my aunt gave me one one time, and forgot about me and totally fried my hair - i looked like i had been electrocuted ! it was so bad, mom even let me stay home from school for 2 days.... ahhh childhood

Now THAT'S bad hair. I remember mom rolling our hair (4 girls) once a week while we watched TV. I already have curly hair, she was trying to tame it. I never fussed over Beths hair like my mom did ours. Of course Bethie was such a tomboy she really only wanted a ponytail.
