I got the rags thing. The curls looked like they'd been made by a blender! My mother faithfully wrapped her coif in toilet paper every night and secured it with those little metal clips. She went to the beauty parlor once a week--no washing in between.

Just got home from our local waterpark. I saw a wet band-aid and immediately thought of Jdarg. I was missing out on all the girl talk!!
You girls were lucky to have sponge rollers!!! I had the plastic ones that clip over the roller! Boy were those uncomfortable.
Flower-there's also new spongy rollers that have wire in them that look like little pillows. I use these on my daughter all the time.
