Did anyone notice that hip replacement in the x-ray. I guess this person likes foreign objects in the body. Is there a typical age when hip replacement surgery is needed, Dr Skunky? Also, that looks like the cap of a plastic coke bottle. All I can say is ouch!

I don't know if there is an 'average' age, but it would be safe to say it is in the 60s...:shock:

My daughter needs to sign on here. She worked for a colon/rectal surgeon when she was in college. Besides the things already mentioned here and in Skunys thread, she saw xrays revealing brooms, lightbulbs, (not such a great idea after all) telephone receivers, kitchen utensils, tool handles.. etc.
What I found amazing was the story that it was always an "accident". Someone was running and the next thing they knew this object was there. That being said, I don't have an opinion on what people find enjoying. But I take care when running in my house now.
