I have friends in town that are wanting to eat oysters and asked me where to go. I love oysters but no longer eat them. Suggestions of where to go along the A?

I have had them fried at George's and they were very tasty.

Hurricane's in Grasyton has great raw oysters. Stinky's has wonderful fried oysters. We also have Aplacha oysters on the half shell, a fried green tomato and oyster BLT and fried oysters in our frito misto at Caliza and the setting is a gem!! (if they are looking for dinner)

Alli, we are looking for lunch and they are going to be at Alys Beach all weekend for a wedding. The reception is at Caliza - can't remember when - but sometimes this weekend.

Its not on 30A, but ShooMama's has good Oysters on the half shell. I had a dozen at lunchtime yesterday and they are priced right.

YES!! One of the few weddings at Caliza, they set up the tent last night...it looks like it will be a beautifl reception! I met the bride's family...very nice group! The restaurant is closed tonight...buut we were packed last night!!!
Hope you decided on some great place for oysters. Sounds like I will have to try the oysters at Shoo Mama's :D
