Congratulations :clap_1: to Paula for winning the hand-knitted scarf which I made and presented to her in person this morning! I forgot to get her photo, so maybe if you encourage her, she will get one of those girls to take her photo wearing it, and post it for all of you to see the happy smile.
For those of you who are clueless, after I posted the story of my friend Josi, who was severly injured in a traffic accident, many people sent Josi many thoughts, notes, prayers and treasures. Some people even gave money to help with the massive costs, which to this day have not been covered by any insurance company. Josi's total costs so far are slightly over $500,000 and she is due to have more extensive surgery in the near future. For everyone who sent in money to assist Josi, I put their names in a hat and drew a winner, Paula, form whom I knitted a scarf with colors to remind her of the beautiful Gulf waters of our area. Sorry for the delay in production, Paula, but I know that the temps are still in the freeze-your-butt-off range in Michigan, so it should serve you well up there. Keep warm! If you get too cold come down to the beach where the temps should be in the lower 80's this week.
