Very nice RO, looking out my front window is just as beautiful, so many colors this year its amazing!!!!! thanks for the pics

I'm so glad the colors are still on the trees. We're driving down to the beach this weekend by way of Atlanta (RO, we're going through your territory!). It will be a fantastic drive down by the looks of these pics. :clap_1:

Mermaid,
How long does it take for you to drive to the beach? And do you spend the night on the way down? You go fairly often so I'm thinking it must not take that long??!

We've been going down once a month since late summer because we're renovating the condo we bought in August. Ordinarily we wouldn't go down quite so often, though I tell ya, this is getting really addicting! We are loving our weeks at the beach. We want to get our condo ready as quickly as possible because we're going to be renting it, and we'd like to have some spring rentals in place.

From Indianapolis, the best time we've ever made is 12 hours exactly, and that was leaving at 6 am promptly and driving with minimal rest stops. Usually it takes 13 hours or more, depending on what kind of traffic jam we hit in Nashville. We're stopping through Atlanta this time to see my brother's new house and ooh and ahh over it. That adds on 2 hours drive time but when we do that, we sleep over. Otherwise, we prefer doing a straight drive through Alabama.
