This role is for Groundskeeper/Custodian at Peddlers Pavilion. The person is responsible for maintaining an aesthetically-pleasing and functional outdoor space and cleaning indoor facilities. Looking for someone to work 6 days a week during busy season (March-August). During the off season we are looking for someone to come 5-6 days. The hours are early morning to the afternoon but can be flexible on the exact time. Looking for someone to start ASAP!
Duties/Responsibilities:
To perform cleaning duties in facility and outside to keep areas in clean and orderly condition • Perform outside cleaning chores, which include sweeping (leaf blowing) sidewalks and/or parking areas, picking up trash, taking the trash out, watering plants, and cleaning bathrooms • Makes repairs on small equipment if needed and • Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance or communicate with supervisor • Planting flowers and shrubbery and watering the plants on regular schedule • May be required to help open the store or huts if deliveries are made • Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior workers • Knowledge of general cleaning • Demonstrates pride in job • Ability to conduct and maintain a professional demeanor • Trustworthy
