This "little" hunk is 17. Look...he scared her off, so he's for sure on the market. ;-)

:welcome: Kaiboo. My older son is only 6, does not like girls, and will not be at the beach next week, sadly. So I can't contribute anything to your vacation. I know you will have a good time!

Jdarg, Kate sounds like an adorable handful -- and I've seen her pic, wow! -- but Kates are meant to be sassy and spunky. It is a rule. In fact our little girl will be named Katharine/Kate/Katie and even though we are very authoritative parents, I secretly hope that she turns out a bit sassy, plays soccer and shows an early independent streak. You tell Kate to go, girl.

Was Katherine a family name for you too? Kate would probably be a Katie all the time, except we had to call her Kate early on because my mom's old Lab was named Katy May. So we would say something about "Katie" and "Katy" the dog would come running! It got a little confusing.

Just 7? In a few years it'll be fine! See...he likes older ladies.

Ha, that's funny. We don't know which she will be yet but it will be one of the two. It's not a family name, just my favorite name. It doesn't seem overly popular right now but give it time ... my older son is Jack, and when he was born we knew no little Jacks anywhere, and right now they are everywhere. I'm praying Katharine  McPhee doesn't kick off a trend.

We are bringing Wil, who is 13, now 6 ft. tall, size 13 shoe, and goofy as can be!
He likes to be on the beach, kayak, hike, sail, look for critters, ride bikes, listen to bluegrass and rock music, watch Family Guy, play some computer games (but will only have a gameboy at the beach), read, torment his 4 year old sister, make fun of his mother, and sleep. QUOTE]

They will get along great...and I am sure he & my son will make friends... Brad is bringing his Xbox 360...he is a bit limited as to his activities this next week...he had minor knee surgery last week and still has stiches....:( ...so he can play X box ...but in very small amounts!
Can't wait to meet the adorable Kate!!!

I can hear the screen porch doors slamming already!!!

Kate is 4, although she will try and tell you she is 11 or 12, c'ause she likes to hang out with the "big girls". She shakes her booty when she walks. She swims like a fish and has no fear of any water. She can quote Family Guy, which does not make me proud, but it buys her some quality time with her brother. She dances like a stripper. The Barbies, Kens, and Blaines never wear clothes. Enough said.

Sounds like Kate and my Kaylee will get along famously. Sometimes when she dresses up it's a little risque (she has outgrown some of the tops and they're more like midriffs.) I've dubbed her "Princess Slutty" when she wears them (but not to her face - LOL!)
