Perfect Day at SoWal Beaches?

What's your dream? Our perfect day would go as follows. Downstairs to a pot of good coffee consumed as we gaze at the Gulf and birdwatch from the decks, followed by a walk on the beach before others arrive. Bicycle from Grayton down to WaterColor for a continental breakfast and the newspapers. Back to Grayton for a swim in the pool and a long rock on the decks (out of the mid-day sun...alas!) with a good book or catching up on old New Yorkers. Later, a lunch of peel-and-eat shrimp and some kind of tasty salad, eaten on the deck with friends. Short drive over to WaterColor, Seaside, and Seagrove to shop for funn things and essentials. Browse books and cards at Sun Dog Books. Leisurely marketing jogs to Modica Market, The Larder, and the new Publix, grazing on new cheeses and other offerings. Home in time for a massage on the top deck, with the sounds and smells and views of the Gulf and the heat of a late sun. A nap wrapped in a warm towel, followed by a sunset walk on the beach. Out to dinner at Borago with friends, then back to the house for a walk on the beach under a full moon, or if no moon, a nightcap at The Red Bar and a few boogies. Off to bed to the sound of the surf...do most of it all again the next day! Life is good, isn't it? We are doing virtual experiences at our house until we can get back down there in October. Lucky, lucky folks who are there now and especially for July 4th!

AAAAHHHH!! The perfect day! I will be doing pretty much this same day come Friday.

Thanks for the respite from a hectic work day Donna. I needed that. :clap_1:

Okay, since we're talking dreams here, how about massage and beach music by Harry Connick, Jr.?

Harry, if you're reading this, we promise that you won't be relegated to the bunk room!
