We have an older friend who is no longer employed due to lack of eyesight and when her other family members are away at work, she is home alone for the most part. About four months ago, her dog passed away (due to old age). They had just recently moved to a smaller home, closer to town but the roadway where they moved to is paved and has a great deal of traffic. For this reason, she has opted not to get a new dog.
I know that pet containment products work as we have two dogs who will never cross their boundries as they hear a beep to warn them. I wondered if there is someone out there who no longer uses their pet containment system (prefer wireless) who would donate to this very caring lady so that she may adopt a pet? That would mean that there would be one less dog in a shelter this holiday season being loved. She does not have any other animals and she has a lot of love to give.
