I definitely agree that there's a control issue here.
It's more like U.S. government/foreign religion psychological warfare. I say foreign cause I don't think any of the founding fathers were muslim.
What the hell is the U.S. doing bowing down in fear to support a comment from this Imam saying that if a mosque is not built near ground zero that we should be afraid of what the "radicals" would do, that our national security would be at risk?
Just like you said before, that is a veiled threat.
That pissed me off.
Hell no.
I didn't have a major problem with them building a mosque there in the beginning, but now that they are talking, the comments out of their mouths are making me suspicious of what is going on. Why all this pussyfooting around from the government when this Imam is trying to use psychological control to get his way.
My radar is up on this issue at this point. I've seen these type tactics before- wake up people- a snake is in the camp. The door for me to agree with a mosque in this area is closing quickly. I would love to be wrong about this, but cannot ignore what he is saying.
I get the feeling of someone coming to burn my house down, then when I get another one built, they want to move into that one with me and not only that, but to bring their friends to stay there too, and not only that, but to move me out.
If I harbored prejudice, I would question my motives, but I am just going by what he himself said.
There's no way that there are "two sides" to this story. There's only one, and that's your own.
Let's elevate America's adversaries. Way to go! A little advice though. Before you start complaining about telepromters [sic], get yourself a spell checker.
