OK, I guess I'm a bit thick. But what is the problem with white shirts? Some kind of faux pas? Environmentally unsound?

Someone clue me in.

The White Shirt People are often spotted in small to large herds trampling through and damaging the fragile dune systems which helps to protect them and their homes from major storms. The White Shirt People often come out just prior to dusk to hunt for these optimum dune systems.
