The sand is not too hard....I have fallen asleep on it a time or two.

The forestry service burned the portion of the Pt. Washington forest next to my house last week. It is very interesting because it opened up the views from my backyard and it is easier to go exploring in the woods now.

Plus I feel a whole lot safer with forest fire season coming along.

I'm still getting used to the 'chared' look tho.............
