anyone ever see the old movie from i believe the 70's or very early 80's called"ticket to heaven" about a guy trying to get over a break-up with his girlfriend. he gets invited to a "religious retreat" and ends up joining a cult and then has to end up being deprogrammed when his family kidnaps him away from the cult.

what this is leading up to, is that katie's family needs to try this with her.

I truly don't believe he does drugs. I think he's just "high on life" as they say.
Maybe you are right. I mean it was Oprah's show and he was in love. Hell, I would be that excited just to be on Oprah. Though, I have no idea why I would be on Oprah.

Didn't someone on SoWal once suggest that Oprah does a show on SoWal, explaining the sense of community from afar?

in all honesty, i think this scientology crap affects him like a drug. he is high on l.ron.hubbard...

the behavior of TC and the scientology underlings have chased more than a few good employees away, long before he met KH. any correspondance is screened by drones before TC get to see it. TC is insulated from the day to day goings on of his companies. there is public berating of those deemed inferior, etc... it's quite amazing that adults are behaving this way and deem it as normal.

"Land of the Lost" Saturday morning show from the late 70's or early 80's reference.

JohnRudy, he was excited, but it was sincere, and I think, coked-up (for Oprah:idontno:)

Land of the Lost was one of my favorites and I couldn't for the life of me remember the name. YAY!

RO, even though you have maligned me in another thread, I have to say that anyone who knows what a Sleestack is a friend of mine! (Deserving of the honor or not...)
