oh Susan, thank you for sharing your family's story with us. it is breaking my heart to read about Joey and all he is going through - I am thinking of you all. Joey will be in my heart and prayers. Please keep us informed and let us know if we can help in any specific ways.

Update
Joey was admitted to the hospital last night and began his interleukin treatments this morning. We are very thankful for this ... the doctors were saying he wouldn't be able to start them for another 3 weeks because of his recovery from surgery.
The interleukin is supposed (and if someone has experience please weigh in) to help boost his immune system so his body can fight the cancer. He'll be in the hospital for the next 5 days.
Dawn (his mom) received a card from Gulf Breeze today and was so appreciative at the support. She was taking it to the hospital to show Joey. Knowing that people are praying for her son really gives her and her husband strength.
Today some of her friends are hosting a raffle in Miami to help the family too.
I hope to have photos to post soon and will start adding updates about Joey's treatment to his site as well (www.bejoeysmiracle.com).
