Stents are great. My dad had enough heart disease that by all rights he should have had open heart surgery and bypass last year, but instead he had a great doctor who was able to rotoblade out the plaque and put three stents in. He went home the next day! For our family the stents and especially this doctor were truly a blessing. Your father in law will do great, just make sure he takes his Plavix every day. I'll offer up a prayer for him; let us know how it goes.
