We are roasting here, with no sea breezes to compensate. I couldn't believe my eyes this a.m. when I saw we are expecting a high temp of 109 degrees. You couldn't even make Jell-o in this weather. Yikes. The Napa Valley is the place for lovers...and I am getting the hell out!

Close your eyes and think of standing on the top deck of the ferry over to Seattle.

It was 95 degrees in Seattle yesterday!

OH MY! That's hot all right...stare directly at my tar...go to your happy place. Repeat after me..."there's no place this cold"..."there's no place this cold"..."there's no place this cold"...

Sorry you are roasting--and wondering if this weather adversely effects the grape harvest? Would there be a delay? Does it over-ripen the grapes, make them lose flavor or whatever? Inquiring minds want to know.
