Blue Ridge International is a manufacturer/distributor of children's products, housewares and gifts worldwide.
This opportunity is for someone with a BFA or BSID in Industrial Design and a minimum 2-3 years experience.
We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Industrial Designer to join our North Florida Product Development group.
The right candidate will flourish in our team-oriented environment and be motivated to drive successful projects.

As a member of the Product Development Team, the Designer is responsible for providing innovative and
technologically advanced products that meet the needs of our customers and end users.
Some of your primary duties include:
? Responsible for the high-quality execution of designs in specific collections or categories.
? Work closely with marketing and sales partners to pinpoint product direction.
? Responsible for concept work and proving out new ideas.
? Keeping up with schedules and development timelines.
? Researching industry and product periodicals for new information.
? Creating and communicating visual presentations.
? Work with outside designers and Orient partners throughout the development process.
? Performing these and other duties as assigned.
To succeed at Blue Ridge, you must:
? Be able to creatively solve problems in a fast paced environment.
? Be proficient at sketching and visualizing.
? Have a very strong sense of form and proportion
? Be organized and pay close attention to detail.
? Possess a strong digital skill set, especially Illustrator, and Photoshop - 3D CAD experience is a plus.
? Show great communication and presentation skills.
? Have basic knowledge of manufacturing processes ? including soft goods
? Understand product costs and their impact on design if necessary.
? Be a quick learner that contributes to the team?s success.
? Possess a strong initiative and an upbeat attitude.
