Didn't this start as a camera thread? :idontno:

Yes, it did JT, but we are known for our tangents!

Right, but LandLocked is in the house so we are wrestling with "no holds barred."

Seriously, back to the camera protection, I keep mine in my pocket. My older camera collected too much sand in the track and became worn from all of the sand and pocket lint. Occasionally, the camera would slip out of my pocket and fall onto the beach. I believe Mr Franny once found it in the sand and asked me if it was mine. I love the beach sand, but not in my cameras. It will ruin it. Anyway, I have found that my cameras are extremely durable. Now, to help protect my new camera from the pocket lint and sand in the pockets, and the occasionally slipping onto the beach, I keep it in a small soft bag which comes with sunglasses, but I still keep it in my pocket.

I looked into a waterproof case for my Canon SD-550. Heck, the case costs almost as much as the camera itself.

hmmm, I don't think my Canon Digital Rebel XT with 70-300mm zoom will fit in her suit, or my pocket for that matter.

"Is that a zoom lens in your shorts, or . . .?"
