Pumpkins to carve?

We are coming down the first week of October with several grand kids and they all want to carve pumpkins. Are there places to pick up several around SoWal, or do we need to bring them from Tennessee?

There are usually a few places (inc Publix) but you can't be 100% positive. Best to check back a few days before you leave.

Durbin Farms in Clanton AL should have them. It is located right off I65 exit 205. This is a very good place to eat a lunch and take a break from driving--good food, wonderful produce, gift shop, and the very best homemade peach ice cream.

Pumpkins and more pumkins! Pumpkins to select and pumpkins to paint. Plus lots of other family fun: face painting; sand sculpting; jumping house; riding ponies; mini-horse petting. There will also be hay rides, cotton candy, hot dogs with all the trimmings and chips, drinks and ice cream. Cameras welcome. The event is the first three weekends in October, 1-2, 8-9, 15-16 at Arnett's Gulfside Trails, 613 CR 393S, Santa Rosa Beach. Call (850) 208-3144 or e-mail gulfsidetrailrides@gmail.com for more information.
