If you love Tuesdays with Morrie, you should read The Five People you Meet in Heaven. It is a wonderful book and has helped me to look at things in a very different way now!

SJ, speaking of smells, it had rained late this afternoon and on my way home from work I had the window rolled 1/2 down.... the smell of the pines, cedars and wet dirt was overwhelming. I wish I could bottle it up and smell it anytime I wish! Very intoxicating!

Re
garding bottling the smell of the forests:

If you would only start to live
One moment at a time
You would, I think, be startled
By the things that you would find.

Like Scents you never noticed
And many subtle sounds
Like colors in the landscape
And textures of the town

Then the winds would lift you up
Into the sky above
And you'd be treated to a view
Of everything you love
And if the moment passes
You should try it once again
For if you do it right
You'll find the moment never ends
--Scents and Subtle Sounds - a song by Phish

Here is a 30 second sample for you. Just click on track 1, Scents and Subtle Sounds (Intro).

This album is interesting in that probably 50% of the songs make reference to the oceans or sand. I wonder where the songs were written???

Try the track a few songs down, "A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing." Sweet!

I guess you have to get accostumed to Phish, and it is not all about the music. They have some awesome lyrics. I do not think that Phish will ever be most people's cup of tea, esp the peeps on this board. The only reason I made the link is because someone stated that they would like to hear the song. If you don't like it, just let it pass on by and wait for something else to come along.:D

Edit: Oh, it was you who wanted to hear it. So you do like the lyrics, eh? - just not the song?
