Rachael's Accident

New posts
I wish I had taken my camera to the Red Bar this evening. If I had done so, I would have taken a photo of Rachael dancing behind her walker, to the tunes of Dread Clampitt. The staples are out, and most of the swelling is gone, and Rachael was going to try to hula hoop tonight. She had the biggest smile on her face when she stood up to dance. Currently, she cannot place her full weight on her right leg, but she will be doing so in no time if she keeps improving at this rate. She says that her legs are a bit week from sitting around so much for the last few weeks, but she will be dancing without a walker in no time. There is one more surgery ahead of her, to remove the screws, and that should be around Halloween or her birthday, which soon follows.

So, the next time you see Rachael, please give her a hug and welcome her back!

We love you Rachael.

I was just wondering about her this morning!!! I was going to post and ask how she is doing...you beat me to it!
So glad to hear she is in good spirits and is on the mend! Can't keep a dancer down!

The power of a good attitude! Keep up the healing, Rachael!!

Last night, Rachael said, "so I heard you were talking about me on the internet?" I shared some of your comments with her and I am going to print this thread for her since she doesn't do computers. If anyone wants to add any other warm wishes for her speedy recovery, please add them to this thread.

Thanks!
