Rachael's Accident

New posts
Re: Rachael's Accident - update

So here is my brief update on Rachael as of Nov 16 2006. As I have not been out much lately, about two weeks have passed since I last saw Rachael. Tonight, she walked into 3Thirty1 without her walker. I was in disbelief. She says that the doctor has told her to continue to use it, but she has grown tired of it, so she ditched it. She appears to be walking well, and dancing well, but she did mention that she has had some pain in the knee. I think that could be from the drop in pressure because my knee has also been acting up today (surgery a few years back). Anyway, Rachael has made quite a recovery, though she is not back to full speed yet, but it looks very promising. Thanks to everyone for sending my friend Rachael good thoughts of well-being after her accident!!! You guys are the best.

:clap_1: ...I met Rachael at Pandora's while I was there. You will not be surprised to know that we talked for a long time! She is one of those people that you meet and feel like you have known forever. Thanks for the update SJ. That's good news.

the continuous walking back and forth at down on the farm all weekend took it's toll, in my estimation. she was limping pretty heavily by sunday and missed most of sunday pm's shows due to needing to rest. i feel she should at least be using her cane.

I don't know Rachel but it is great to hear she is doing well.
I don't want to dampen the spirit and hope this comment is taken with understanding of my hopes for her future health.
As a rehab case manager for 32 years, please take care of yourself now so you will continue to improve and bloom for several years. Take care on the front end and the back end sort of takes care of you.!! Don't be vain. Use the walker or cane when needed so you will have a healthy future and possibly not need and assistive walking device.
