Racist Anti-Mosquers

Here is another 11 for you: The world trade towers' building shape was basically 11.

Or an "equals" sign standing on its end...

Sorry...I had a smarty pants moment...

I'll make it simple.

If members of Al-Qaeda or the Taliban were opening up a community center in lower Manhattan I would be all about trying to find a way to stop them or convincing them to move it even if they are within their rights to put it there.

But this is a *Muslim* community center. The people wanting to do this aren't the same folks who brought down the towers.

There are crazy white people, crazy black people, crazy brown people, crazy Jews, crazy Christians, crazy old people, crazy young people, crazy redheads, crazy brunettes, dumb blondes, smart blondes, mean pitbulls, poisonous snakes-

but if we are thinking with our brains we will not lump all of the same kind together because of the actions of just a few outliers.

I am embarrassed that so many (evidently the majority) doesn't see this ten years later. If this was happening in October of 2001 it would make more sense to me.

:clap:Good post Geo.

If they really wanted to protest the people who flew into the towers, you'd think they would stop buying gas from the Saudies. I think this video pulled it all together for me.

"A man walks through the crowd at the Ground Zero protest and is mistaken as a Muslim. The crowd turns on him and confronts him. The man in the blue hard hat calls him a coward and tries to fight him. The tall man who I think was one of the organizers tried to get between the two men. Later I caught up with the man who's name is Kenny. He is a Union carpenter who works at Ground Zero. We discussed what a scary moment that was for him. I told him that I hoped it did not ruin his day."

I say even if he was a Muslim so what? Should Muslims not take a stroll in the vicinity of "GZ" as some (not me) like to call it? What a bunch of despicable morons!

I watched the video, and it is obvious from the beginning, that something happened before this video clip began. Look closely and you will see that the crowd is divided in two - those against the mosque being built there and those in favor. (later, you also hear the tall guy saying that they have only a limited amount of time on their (protest) permit.) Also, the man is obviously being separated from the folks against the mosque by the guy in the NYFD shirt, walked back on his own to the side with those for the mosque. Who knows why he was being walked back? We don't know from this video. He used the F word several times, so maybe he was causing controversy, talking smack at this group's rally.

Geo ask what about his appearance makes the crowd do this? It appears that the crowd was there protesting and the man came into their protest. Maybe it had nothing to do with his appearance. Maybe it was something else that the camera didn't get prior to the start of the video clip.

Interesting comments from the videographer (I'm guessing because the first poster didn't say who said it) about the "crowd turning on him." I'm not sure what that means because to turn on someone means a change, as in they are for him, then turn against him. It appears from the camera's point of view that most of the crowd can't even see the man, so how do they even know what's happening? Mob rule? Not likely, since they cannot even see him. They were already there protesting.

It seems like everyone is quick to issue the verdict, but no one wants to ever sit on the jury.

You may be on to something with those symbols. Get this, using 11 on its ends (=) with the 11 upright representing the world trade towers, we get 1+1= 2. Yep, there were two world trade towers. 11 and = also have two lines in each and there were two towers. Now, there are two sides, those for and those against, and it looks like they are divided in the street in the video by what? Probably the same thing that is in most centers of streets -- two lines, side by side, just like the world trade towers. coincidence? You'll have to decide on your own.

Not to mention that the people wanting to do it have already been at this same location. Apparently their brand of Islam is so "in your face" and offensive they've been praying there for years w/o incident - at least until someone needed a way to rile up folks to distract from the real issues at election time. :sarc:

Lots of people have questioned/reflected on the symbolism:

To my amazement the tragedy in New York and Washington happen on the 11 of September, flight number 11, and the twin towers from a distance looked like the number 11. So please pay attention to the line in my article that says that it is time to take a good look around you and what is really happening.

I believe we are all connected with an invisible spiritual thread through which we can transmit information. Thought and feeling to each other, even if never met. Use this channel to send help, prays, love and positivity to humanity and all our animals
