Racist Anti-Mosquers

New posts
Koa, FYI- my wow was in reference to your paragraphs 1 and 2, especially 2...

There's a difference in the amount of publicity. I'm sure plenty of Christians hate Muslims and would like to see them die. This is the beauty of being an atheist. I just sit high upon a hill eating popcorn  watching them kill each other. :banging::bicycle::boxing::whack::trainwreck: :violin: It doesn't get
any better than this.:chill:
Been drinking this afternoon along with the popcorn, LS?

Koa

Serpentine post-

surmising Muslim minds- paragraph 1

predicting what Jesus might do if He didn't die- paragraph 2

quoting the Koran out of context- paragraph 3

Can any of this be documented?

My understanding is that there has been a mosque there for a long time. Very uneventful.

And now that the people who own the mosque are wanting to expand it to include a community center that there is outrage about a mosque.

Mosque was already there in the vicinity of 9-11. And the guy who runs it was so respected that he has appeared on Fox News framed as a moderate before he was framed as an extremist and oh, BTW-

he represents the US government in reaching out to Muslims in other parts of the world to denounce radicalism/extremism.

These are important facts to consider, no?

It is truly amazing and scary how ignorant people truly are.. As a proud New Yorker i do see the mosque issue as slightly tasteless but on the other hand it is unamerican to prevent the building of this community center.Freedom of Religion is one of the most important rights this country was based on.. the man building the mosque is 1000% against the radical fundamentalists of Islam as you said. I am more afraid of the idiots wanting to have a book burning of the Koran in Lake City they are in the same category as Al Quaeda in my eyes.. Those folks as well as many Americans think that muslims pray to a different God than we do. Its just a different name. are the italians or spanish praying to a different God because they say Dio? You are not a muslim if you do not believe in Jesus Christ and his return. The main difference between Christianity and Islam is that Christians believe Jesus was the last messenger, Muslims believe mohammed was. both the bible and koran conflict within themselves and to me are just stories. but to each his own..
My FAVORITE note on this subject is That the man most funding the building of the mosque just so happens to be the second biggest shareholder next to robert murdoch of FOX news..that just cracks me up. The idiots on Fox were doing there typical speculation scare tactics the other morning on where the funding was coming from and never said who it was. they even tried to link Iran. It is truly frightening to me that people honestly believe FOX information and i'm terrified that these morons vote. Thanks for letting me vent. PROUD AMERICAN

Here's my big question. Wasn't Iraq a secular Muslim nation at one time? Didn't we just liberate them? If I recall correctly, women were not veiled and Christians were not persecuted. Saddam's right hand man Tariq Aziz was Christian for gosh sake. So why the eff can't we make such a system work over here?

Good question. Iraq had one of the best education systems around before the Gulf War...and it was compulsory for all, so as a whole the people are well educated and tolerant of differences.

We seem to continue to confuse the radical, terrorist criminals from Saudi Arabia who attacked us with all the people who live in that part of the world.

Pretty amazing when you think about it.
