Combination of tanned, burnt, and untanned skin (usually from bad sunscreen application or a different suit) that resembles the combination of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate found in the popular ice cream flavor. :chill:

I LOVE this! When I first got into landscaping, I was the only one at my company with an IQ in 3 digits, so they made me get a pesticide license. I already had tan lines from my shorts and work boots, but after that I had to wear knee-high rubber boots and gloves. I looked like I had the flood record on my legs and arms--stripes all the way.

Plain vanilla here.

You heard it here first. Macrame is coming back! Back, I tell you!

Shortly before my first was born over 8 years ago, my uncle sent me a handmade macrame cradle that was 1) totally impractical as it had to be hung from the ceiling studs and 2) the ugliest thing I had ever seen. (My uncle took up macrame in the 70s and apparently never stopped. Bless him, he is such a nice guy, so I felt terrible about never using it.)

Well, it has been in my closet forever. There will be no more babies and I need closet space so it is time to do something with the macrame cradle.

This afternoon I put it on Craigslist in the "free" section, basically begging someone to take it off my hands, because my uncle made it and I couldn't bear to toss it in the trash. I had three -- THREE! -- responses in less than two hours. GUSHING responses. The first one who responded saw the pics, wants it, and I will meet her tomorrow to hand it over. I feel oddly guilty yet so relieved at the same time!

But macrame! Who knew?

Hey, I learned to macrame a couple of years ago chaperoning at camp. I made bracelets, anklets, and key chains! Maybe I can start a new business.
TfT, you probably missed out on the big bucks.

Maybe so, but I think taking money for a gift I never really liked and didn't use and felt terrible about would be bad mojo. :bicycle: This way is better.
