Grrr. I just stubbed my toe so bad that 3/4 of my nail came off.
It's my middle toe and it hurts like a mofo. I was just getting ready to work out too. that won't be happening. 
It's ruining my day.:angry:

it is weird weather here, i'll give you that. it's 61 here now, but cloudy and still pretty humid it seems. and of course i'm sure we'll have our afternoon shower.
sorry about the toe - i know that hurts. mr audie one time was opening a door that didn't completely meet the floor, when he pulled the door open he caught his big toe nail and ripped it back, it was just hanging on by the nail bed at the back. it was one of the grosses things i've ever seen

Tennessee won't give us our water back.
I vote that
- we dig a giant french drain right along the Georgia/Tennessee state line and catch all our water coming out of the mountains
- we have a big ol' party on the Georgia/Bama line where everyone pees in the Hooch. That'll teach Alabama and Florida to steal our water.

That it! I'm going to buy the bunch and cut them up the old fashioned way. I ownder if its too late to plant carrots here. i think carrots are a cool weather crop, no?
We had a nasty thunder storm about 4am this morn. Most of NY has been hazy, hot and very humid. I get some relief from the sea breeze even though I'm walking distance from the bay. I also spend a part of every day on the screen porch, which has a huge old tree in front to shade it. The gas is hovering at $4.19 for the last few weeks. I keep a full tank just in case....I was going to trade in my Escape for a Prius but they're asking close to $30Gs w/o any extras. If my Mom were hear she'd tell them they were "screwballs" and that it was "Highway robbery". Whatever that means...
