Daisy is a few feet away standing elbow/knee deep in mud, barking at a lily pad - total doggy bliss. Life is Good.

I believe that dogs are the best teachers for living in the moment! :D

I am going to be in south Walton on Saturday. Got to go to Buddy's to get some gas and a hot dog. :floor: I kill myself. Suggestions for a place for lunch that is probably not going to be overrun with touristas?

did you get some gas wg? how was the hot dog? just wondering. I would never eat anything out of any convenience store. if you will do a food report on the hot dogs at buddy's then maybe some of us can be convinced to give it a try.

Why do people feel the need to walk down the middle of the rows in the shopping area??? It would be nice if they would go to the left or right so people in cars could go by them.

for that matter.....why do all those tourist park their little bikes right in front of Modica so that it is impossible to get into the store let alone sit down out front?

I thought it was just me, but it is apparently genetic!

We went out to breakfast (trout and eggs) and as we were walking into the cafe Mom went to grab the free local paper from the dispenser. She came back and said "it said it was inside," so Dad and I figured that the cafe had gathered up the speical sunday papers to distribute them to its Easter brunch customers or had moved them inside where the melting snow/cold weather wouldn't mess up the papers. She didn't see in in the entryway and asked our waiter - who had a good laugh and explained.

Poor Mom was having a brain fart - a local realty company had paid $$ to have a special advertising cover printed to go over the standard paper - with a note in the corner in HUGE print that "today's edition is inside."

Codicil to Scooterbug's Law of Nudity:

Those most likely to take off their undergarments and use them to decorate trees next to ski lifts are those most likely to wear boring/unattractive undergarments.

There is no sensation like that which one has when he steps, barefoot, into a pile of fresh cow pooh on a hot summer's day.

Thank you for giving me the biggest laugh I have had all day:floor::rofl::clap::funn::rolling:
