ours too, a lot of times i turn the heat off during the day and just use it at night in the winter...

We pretty much don't use the whole thing from mid-October thru mid-April. Sometimes just the fan to circulate air, but otherwise it's perfect.

houses aren't built for cross -venting etc these days. I don't see how they read with those oil lamps and candles.
