I don't know if it qualifies as random good news--good random news?--so I'll stick to the random news thread...

I usually really like those freecreditreport.com jingles in the commercials... but I don't like the new one at all. You know, the one where they work at a Renaissance Fair.

I heart Glenn Burns, too......who's Flipp? Was he FUNN?

Fip Spiceland is way cooler than Glenn Burns. He has the cheesiest name ever, but he was not at all cheesy himself. He was the cool kid at school who just smiled and took everything in stride.

I loved Flip. He gave up his career at CNN to stay in ATL for his family. He was too good for WXIA. Then WXIA shafted him.

I don't like the new weather guy on the morning news on WXIA. He is a doofus. I miss Chris Holcomb. Jill looks tired. And Karen needs to stop wearing a wig (unless she has a health problem that hasn't been publicized, and if so, I retract my criticism).

But they are better than the alternatives.

I had to Google her. We always watch NBC for local news.

Interesting name. Sounds like a type of stock (big-caps, mid-caps, etc.). Still not as bad as my maiden name.
