Reading Specialist/Tutor Needed

We just moved to the area and I am looking for a reading specialist/tutor for my eight year old son. He has dyslexia and has been attending a private for children with dyslexia. The school used the Orton-Gillingham method and I would prefer someone trained in the same method.

Also, I have heard there may be a few other families in the area who also have a child(ren) with the same needs. I would like to visit with those families, too. If we can?t find someone here who has the appropriate training maybe we can all work together to get someone here!

I am an administrator at a private school in Walton Co. and know a tutor who is experienced in Orton-Gillingham. She works out of her home and services a lot of our children and families. You may email me if you are interested in talking!

Hi TC. We moved here from Atlanta in August. Our Children attended the Schenck School there which is for dyslexics and utilizes Orton. We are using a tutor that lives over behind the hospital.
