Beach Comber
Here we are trying to find a rental for Jan, Feb, and March of 2011. It will be our third year. We like Seagrove because it is close to where we do volunteer work. Nice house but very poorly furnished except the kitchen.
Bed in master bedroom was just a mattress thrown on top of plywood In 2009 we were in a beautiful condo with no internet that worked

This year we would like to stay in a place that has internet service,
We are looking at :The Bungalows of Seagrove and the Villas at Seagrove

Any thoughts on these places?
thanks

As far as I know neither of those places offer site wide internet, it would be owner by owner. Both are fairly new so the overall condition should be good to excellent. I don't believe either property offers a heated pool.

I would say that the two defining issues would be space and view. The bungalows are small, about 1000 square feet, for 2 bed 2.5 (possibly 2 or 1.5) bath. The Villas on the other hand seem to offer tons of space.

In any event I would offer the advice at this point I always do to renters. Find out the owners name and search the clerks office website to make sure they are looking down the barrel at a foreclosure. It's a ways off, but a lot can happen over the next 5-6 months.

Might not be a bad idea to send a Sowal scout in to check the place out for you too so you can avoid issues like you mentioned.

They are both nice, but I would go with the Villas. They're a much closer walk to the beach, they're more spacious and a little fancier, and they're gated (if that matters to you). Also, the Villas are right next door to a few good eateries, Flip Flops and Coyotes.
